Astros' streak hits 11 after 10-0 trip

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) Carlos Correa and the Houston Astros won their 11th straight game, finishing off a dominant 10-0 road trip by rallying past the Kansas City Royals 7-4 Sunday.

The World Series champion Astros swept their swing through Texas, Oakland and Kansas City, outscoring opponents 74-35.

Last season, Houston had an 11-game winning streak end in Kansas City. This time, the Astros trailed 4-3 in the eighth inning before Correa led off with a tying homer. Evan Gattis, who had three hits, then put them ahead during a three-run burst.

Teheran hitless through 6 in Braves' win

ATLANTA (AP) Julio Teheran pitched six no-hit innings before being pulled from his first start since coming off the disabled list, and Atlanta relievers gave up six hits Sunday while the Braves finished off a 4-1 win over the San Diego Padres.

The Braves' bid for a combined no-hitter ended with one out in the seventh when reliever Shane Carle allowed a single to Cory Spangenberg. Freddy Galvis added another single before Carle pitched out of the jam.

RHP Carrasco to get more tests on elbow

CLEVELAND (AP) Indians pitcher Carlos Carrasco will undergo additional tests on his bruised right elbow after he was placed on the 10-day disabled list Sunday.

Carrasco was struck by Joe Mauer's line drive in the second inning of Saturday's 9-3 loss to Minnesota. The injury is a big blow for the Indians, whose strong rotation has kept them on top of the AL Central.

TORONTO (AP) Washington Nationals reliever Ryan Madson had spent the past couple of weeks thinking about how long he'd gone between giving up home runs.

He won't have to wonder about it any more after the Toronto Blue Jays burned him with back-to-back blasts.

BALTIMORE (AP) For the first time in more than a month, there was music playing in the Baltimore Orioles' clubhouse following a game.

The team still faces an uphill battle to turn the season around, but it was admittedly just nice to get a win.

Font leads 'pen in Rays' win over Yanks

NEW YORK (AP) Wilmer Font held the high-scoring Yankees in check in the latest Tampa Bay game "started" by a reliever, and the Rays held off New York 3-1 Sunday to avoid a sweep.

Matt Duffy drove in two runs with a second-inning single for his first multi-RBI game in over a month.

Suarez, Votto power Reds past Pirates

PITTSBURGH (AP) Eugenio Suarez homered in the second straight game and Joey Votto celebrated his 1,500th major league contest by going 2 for 4 with two RBIs as the Cincinnati Reds held off the Pittsburgh Pirates 8-6 on Sunday.

Suarez turned on a Joe Musgrove (2-2) offering and sent it into the bleachers in left field for a two-run shot in the fourth. Votto hit a drive to deep right-center the fifth to chase Musgrove and give the Reds the cushion they would need to beat the Pirates for just the second time in seven tries at PNC Park this season.

Tigers beat ChiSox for fifth win in row

CHICAGO (AP) Nicholas Castellanos homered and Blaine Hardy pitched one-run ball into the sixth, leading the Detroit Tigers over the Chicago White Sox 3-1 on Sunday for their fifth straight win.

Jose Iglesias added an RBI single as Detroit improved to 8-1 against the White Sox this season, including 6-0 at Guaranteed Rate Field.

Dodgers beat Bumgarner, now 11-2 in June

LOS ANGELES (AP) Enrique Hernandez has helped the Los Angeles Dodgers solve a problem they've had for years - Giants ace Madison Bumgarner.

Hernandez and Matt Kemp each homered for the second consecutive game, Alex Wood got his first victory since May 20 and the Dodgers beat Bumgarner and San Francisco 3-1 on Saturday night.
